Following an inquiry (Captain's Consort) at the Horse Racing Division this Thursday 02nd May 2024, Trainer C. Daby was charged for breaching Rules 69.1 (with 69.1.2), 65.1 and 65.2 by the Racing Stewards.

The latter pleaded not guilty but was found guilty as charged.

His licence has been suspended for 1 year and he has been fined a penalty of Rs 500,000.

The horse Captain's Consort has also been suspended for 365 days.
