The inquiry concerning jockey Rye Joorawon's ride on horse In With A Chance (RM 15 - race 4) was held this Thursday 22 August at the Horse Racing Division.

He was charged for contravening Rule 43.2.7 by the Racing Stipes but pleaded not guilty. The local rider was found guilty as charged.

Thus, R Joorawon was suspended for 6 race meetings.

Rule 43.2.7 stipulates that "The Jockey of a horse shall ride his mount out the end of the Race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards."
