Bernard Fayd'herbe has been charged under rule 208 (j) and found guilty by the Racing Stipes for not riding Alshibaa to the finish.

The South African rider pleaded guilty and has therefore been penalized from riding for 3 race meetings.

Rule 208 (j) stipulates that when riding in a race, a jockey shall : ‘’ride his mount, throughout the race, to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards.’’
