Following an inquiry this Wednesday 14 December at the HRD, A L Da Silva (Emblem Of Hope) has been charged under rule 208 (d) for causing interference to Cartel Boss (B Sooful) between the 700m and 600m by the Racing Stipes. The jockey pleaded not guilty but was found guilty as charged.

Rule 208 (d) stipulates that when riding in a race, a jockey shall : ‘’take every possible and all necessary steps to ensure that he or his horse does not cross, jostle, bunch, interfere with or intimidate another horse.’’
