Dear all,The HRD confirms that it has conducted a stringent review of the ratings for every horse which raced in the 2022 season.

The analysis from this review has revealed that the ‘creep factor’, which impacts many racing jurisdictions which have small horse populations, has played a role in the increased ratings of many horses.

In order to alleviate a significant portion of the influence from this anomaly, the HRD has taken the decision to decrease all horses which raced in the 2022 season by 5 points in the merit ratings.
