position and then LOVE ME AGAIN was laying out which resulted in this horse travelling
wide in the final turn. He further advised his horse ran unsettled and it was racing after a
long lay off. The explanations of Jockey N. Marday was noted.

General
1. Prior to the commencement of this race, the instructions for all riders were taken by the
Stipendiary Stewards. In this regard, each of the instructions matched the racing pattern of
the horses.
2. ROMANUS (P. Horil) played up violently in the stalls, ducked under the gates, bolted and
injured Jockey P. Horil. The start of the race was delayed. Subsequently, ROMANUS was
withdrawn.
3. ALPENHORN (M. Ribeiro) was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon prior to being
reloaded.

2. CASIMIRO (S. Rama) was slow.

Stewards Reports
1. In view of the Starting Report, the starting stall certificate for ROMANUS (P. Horil) has
been withdrawn. This horse has been suspended by the Stipendiary Stewards for seven days
after which, it will be required to complete a jump out in a barrier trial to the satisfaction of
the Stipendiary Stewards.
2. Passing the 400m, CASIMIRO (S. Rama) broke his right fore leg and fell, dropping its
rider. CARINO BELLO (J. Bardottier) and DAYLA VISTA (R. Oodith) which were
following, collided with fallen horse and fell, dislodging their respective riders.
3. Soon after entering the straight, Jockey A. Roy (SPECIAL FORCE) lost his right stirrup,
after which the left stirrup was out. Jockey A. Roy seemed to have lost balance and fell off
his mount. An inquiry will be opened into this incident.
4. Jockeys J. Bardottier, S. Rama, P. Horil, R. Oodith and A. Roy have been declared
medically indisposed for the rest of the race meeting.

ordered to be refunded. Fixed odds winning bets were deducted by 10 cents per rupee on
the face value of the ticket.
