1. In view of the Starting Report, the starting stall certificate for PROTECTIVE LIGHT (R.
Joorawon) has been withdrawn. This horse has been suspended by the Stipendiary Stewards
for seven days after which, it will be required to complete a jump out in a barrier trial to
the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards.
2. LOVE ME AGAIN (G. Aucharuz) was hanging in, in the straight.
3. Jockey G. Aucharuz (LOVE ME AGAIN) appeared before the Board and advised that his
horse was travelling well until the 600m when it showed a tendency to lay in and was
hanging in more in the straight. He opined that the distance of the race could be a bit far for
him. In view of the performance of the horse, it was referred to the Veterinary Surgeon and
selected for sample.

1. After weighing out, the Course Medical Officer examined Jockey G. Aucharuz (WAIMEA)
and stood him down for the remainder of this race meeting.

Da Silva).

1. Approaching the 600m, FORT MCHENRY (P. Horil) was steadied while racing on the
inside of WAIMEA (R. Joorawon). Jockey P. Horil appeared before the Board and was
shown the patrol films of the race and advised to be careful when riding his horse in an
insufficient gap.
2. Near the 100m, WAIMEA (R. Joorawon) put in an awkward stride.
3. FORT MCHENRY (P. Horil) shifted ground outward under the use of the whip.
4. Whilst reviewing the race, it was observed that Jockey A. Correira Da Silva (MOON
JUMPER) pulled the earplugs of the horse approaching the 400m and therefore it did not
carry the equipment in terms of the Rules. Trainer A. Rahmathulla and Jockey A. Correira
Da Silva appeared before the Board, were shown the patrol films of the race, and
interviewed in this regard. Subsequently, Jockey A. Correira Da Silva signed an admission
of guilt for a fine of Rs 5,000 was imposed on him.

awkwardly placed pn the heels of WORLD'S BEST (M. Sonaram) and steadied briefly.
Subsequently, Trainer C. Ramdin and Jockey R. Joorawon (SPECIAL BLEND) viewed the
video footage of this incident, however, decided not to proceed with lodging of an
objection. Jockey M. Sonaram was also shown the footage of the incident and was issued
with a reprimand.
