General 1. Prior to the running of this race, Trainer Y. Emamdee advised the Board that his instructions to Jockey J. Allyhosain were to ride SENOR DON with an intention to lead. This change of tactic was disseminated to the public.
Starting Report 1. ITDAWNEDONME (S. Donohoe) refused to jump and lost many lengths.
Stewards Reports 1. In view of the Starting Report, the starting stall certificate for ITDAWNEDONME (S. Donohoe) has been withdrawn. This gelding has been suspended by the Stewards for thirty days after which, it will be required to complete a jump out in a barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards. 2. SENOR DON (J. Allyhosain) hung in, in the straight, proving difficult to assist. Jockey J. Allyhosain appeared before the Board and was afforded the opportunity to place on record any factors which, in his opinion, contributed to the poor performance of SENOR DON. In this regard, he could afford no explanation for the performance. He merely stated that he had intended to lead, however, WILLIAMTHEFIGHTER (R. Perez) was faster and after securing the position behind the leader moving through the 600m, he felt that his horse would have nothing to come in the finish. In view of the performance of SENOR DON, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Trainer Y. Emamdee will be requested to report back on the condition of SENOR DON upon return to the stables. 3. In the concluding stages, WILDE WORLD (R. Joorawon) shifted out sharply away from the whip. 4. Joorawon), which kicked clear of the field, leaving the 700m. Jockey S. Donohoe was interviewed by the Board and confirmed the above statements. 4. Jockey J. Allyhosain (BOLLINGER) brushed the left side starting stall on jumping. Jockey J. Allyhosain was subsequently examined by the Course Medical Officer and stood down for the remainder of the race meeting.
5.Jocjey M. De Oliveira struck the horse COLOUR OF MONEY with his whip more than once on consecutive strides in the running. An inquiry will be opened.
