Stewards Reports 1. Leaving the 700m, SPIRITUAL WIND (M. De Oliveira) was ridden to progress in the race and approaching the 600m, stumbled when clipped the heels of the front runner and fell, dislodging its rider. Jockeys J. Allyhosain (SONNENSTRAHL) and K. Ramsamy (FASSI) took evasive actions to avoid colliding with the fallen horse and Jockey M. De. Oliveira. As a result of this incident, FASSI was pulled out of the race. 2. Subsequent to the fall of Jockey M. De Oliveira in the race, he was examined by the Course Medical Officer and was stood down for the remainder of the race meeting. 3. Apprentice I. Taka (SAND PATH) reported that his saddle slipped in the running, rendering him unable to assist the horse fully. However, the saddle slip was not confirmed by an Official. Apprentice I. Taka was issued with a reprimand for being in contravention of Rule 38.2.4 for removing the saddle before being inspected by an Official.

DOUBLE SILVER (D. Bheekary) was awkward when coming through the crossing near the 1000m. 3. HONOKALANI (B Ecroignard) was held for a clear run between the 400m and the 300m. 4. Near the 300m, AL JAZEERA (I. Taka) was eased briefly while racing on the inside of GOOD BUDDY (K. Mudhoo). 5.
